EU approval granted for Polypropylene film additive after 15 years

A Polypropylene film additive by Eastman has taken 15 years to gain EU approval. Eastman Chemical B.V.'s Plastolyn R1140 hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin complies with a listing for petroleum hydrocarbbon resin (hydrogenated) in the Fifth Amendment to the Plastics Directive 2002/72/EC, along with Regalite resins R1100 and R1125.
