New PMMA grade contains 20% carbon sourced from biomass

French chemical major Arkema Group's subsidiary, Atulglas International has recently unveiled a new PMMA grade under the name Altuglas Rnew which is based on one-fifth of carbon derived from biomass. The new PMMA grade has can be employed in cosmetic packaging, electronics industry and number of other markets due to its noteworthy optical and visual qualities, durability and exceptional surface hardness.
