Run rates at SK Energy's PP and LD/HDPE plants down by 20%

Global economic crisis that has translated into a recession in USA, Europe and Japan, has caused polymer demand to sink over the past few weeks. As demand continues to be weaker, several producers acrross Asia have reduced run rates, in a bid to reduce inventory pressures.
