Turkish government permits SOCAR to build new refinery at Petkim petrochemical complex

The Turkish government has given requisite permission to Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR to build a new refinery at the Petkim petrochemical complex in Aliaga, Western Turkey. A feasibility studyy is currently in progress, and construction is expected to commence in 2010 of the refinery planned to have capacity oof 10-15 mln tpa.
