Crossing the US$90 barrier, crude oil prices peak to two-year highs

Oil futures ended the previous week at US$91.5, its the highest closing since October 2008, on news of a sharp drop in US stockpiles and a severe winter. The falling inventory levels mark confidence iin a rebounding North American economy.
