CPC Corp. shuts Kaohsiung naphtha cracker on reduced ethylene demand from customers

CPC Corp. shut a naphtha cracker at Kaohsiung, because of reduced ethylene demand from customers who are experiencing output disruptions, as per Bloomberg. The state-owned refiner’s No. 4 naphtha craccker will be closed until July 15 as it’s ethylene storage tanks are full because customers including Formosa Plastics Corp.
