Cracker shutdown compels Formosa to defer over 1 mln tons of naphtha

Formosa Petrochemical Corp. has deferred over 1 million metric tons of naphtha imports because of the shutdown of one of its crackers, as per ICIS.
A cargo of at least 600,000 tons of naphtha for deelivery between July and August, originally scheduled to be delivered between the end of May and June, has been deferred.
