New TPE that looks, feels and smells like leather

An innovative product range of leather-fiber-filled thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in film and granules as well as compacted leather fiber granules for addition to polymer compounds has been introduced by Goodfellow Corporation. The leather-filled TPE can be processed by extrusion, injection molding or calendaring, resulting in a material that looks, feels and even smells like leather. The ease of processing and robustness of TPE also make possible designs that may have been too costly or even impossible to produce with real leather.
