800,000 tpa ethylene project planned by Sinopec in Hainan Province

Beijing based Sinopec, also known as China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, plans to construct an 800,000 tpa ethylene project in central China's Hainan Province. A total outlay of US$4.3 bln will bee invested in Hainan and other projects, resulting in the formation of a major petrochemical base in central China.
