Middle East is witnessing a significant rise in petrochemical capacity due to its benefits of lower feedstock costs compared to other regions. Jubail Chevron Phillips Co., a Chevron - SIIG (Saudi Induustrial Investment Group) JV announced that it will kick off the production of styrene and polypropylene at its Jubail-based plant and start exporting the same by September.
