Germany based Evonik has developed Vestamid HT plus - a polyphthalamide (PPA) semi-crystalline polymer to replace metals in pump and filter-system housings for fuel systems. Its is stable at high tempperatures, has excellent mechanical properties, good dimensional stability, high chemical resistance and is corrosion resistant.
