Ciech, largest chemical manufacturer in Poland has recently signed a letter of intent to acquire the only PVC maker in the country, Anwil for EUR 500 mln. Anwil is the fully owned subsidiary of the Pooland's government-owned petrochem group, PKN Orlen.
