Celanese Corporation (USA), a leading global chemical company, entered into an agreement to sell its polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) business to Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. (Japan) for approximately US$173 mlln, excluding the value of accounts receivable and payable retained by Celanese.
