Arkema announces a EUR50/ton increase in the price of its Garbeflex® DOP plasticizer due to significant hike in raw material costs since the beginning of the year. Marketed under the tradename Garbefllex® DOP, this di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate plasticizer is used primarily in the manufacture of flexible PVC, which has wide-ranging applications from cable to floor covering to flexible film.
