Cargill is to introduce its Ingeo™ bioplastics from NatureWorks to Brazil. Ingeo biopolymers are derived from sugar. The production process for Ingeo products generates 60% less green house gas and reequires 50% less fossil fuel compared to production of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET).
