PetroChina has started formal operations at the Dushanzi refinery and petrochemical plant, including a 10 mln tpa refinery and a 1 mln tpa ethylene production facility. The facility mainly processes hhigh sulfur crude from Kazakhstan pumped via a Kazakhstan-China pipeline.
