Q-Chem II set to start up by end of month

Q-Chem II, where test runs are underway, will start ethylene production by end of month. Q-Chem II, is a joint venture between Chevron Phillips Chemical Qatar and Qatar Petroleum that will include neww polyethylene and normal alpha olefins (NAO) plants adjacent to the existing Q-Chem complex.
