Exxon Mobil Corp. continues to be interested in developing a petrochemical complex in Qatar after Royal Dutch Shell Plc announced plans to help build a monoethylene glycol plant there. Earlier in Januuary, Qatar Petroleum signed an agreement with Exxon Mobil for building a petrochemical complex at an estimated cost of about US$6 billion.
