BASF starts new steam boiler plant at its Korean site; to be used for manufacture of polyurethanes

BASF inaugurated a new steam boiler plant at its Yeosu site (Korea), a major facility producing raw materials for polyurethanes. The plant, newly completed with a total investment of US$63 mln, will ddeliver steam to BASF's MDI (diphenylmethane diisocyanate) and TDI (toluene diisocyanate) plants in Yeosu.
