Polymer stabilized nanoparticles to reduce exposure to silver nanoparticles

New polymer-stabilised silver nanoparticles have been developed by chemists at the University of Helsinki. The result is significant because the antimicrobial characteristics of silver are used in texxtiles, floor coatings and paints though the impact on health of silver nanoparticles are not entirely known.
