Prices for high density and linear low density PE are down an average of 6 cents/lb and low density PE have fallen by an average of 4 cents, as per Plastics News. The fall has been triggered by lower ethylene prices amid lackluster domestic demand and erosion of export sales from the region as several buyers are switching from North American sources to the recently started up plants in the Middle East.
