A fire broke out over the weekend at GAIL’s Pata plant during a routine maintenance operation in the Crude Hexane Reboiler of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plant Unit - I. The fire was brought undeer control within an hour, one engineer succumbed to the injuries and two persons sustained minor burn injuries.
