Japan Polystyrene, Inc. (JPS), a company jointly operated by Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. and Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. ha announced to quit polystyrene business and will be dissolved due to rise in polysstyrene feedstock prices and shift in production bases of its customers.
