Petrochemical projects in Rayong that have passed an environmental impact assessment (EIA) can move ahead with their investment, since a new pollution-reduction plan is not expected to affect them. Hoowever, projects awaiting EIA approval will need to be delayed until the pollution-reduction plan is completed.
