A fires at LyondellBasell Industries’ La Porte, Texas, plant at a non-operating part of the facility and has been contained by staff, as per Bloomberg. The fire occurred in a part of the chemical compplex that is being demolished, and is unrelated to an earlier flaring incident that was reported on the community hotline.
