4 killed as fire breaks out at Reliance petrochem unit

A fire broke out in a section of Reliance Industries' plant No. 2 with a capacity to produce 60,000 tpa of LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene) at Nagothane in Maharashtra on Friday. Four people haave been killed after the fire, and about 15 have been injured at the fire which occurred after the plant was shut down for routine maintenance about 24 hours earlier.
