Force Majeure declared by Dow on ethylene from Terneuzen

With effect from June 1, 2008, Dow Europe has declared force majeure (FM) on ethylene supplies from its 575,000 tpa Number 2 cracker at Terneuzen (The Netherlands). The plant was shut due to technicall problems that it encountered after it was restarted in May, following a maintenance turnaround.
