Price trends of oil, polymer feedstock and commodity polymers in Asia for the week of 21 July, 2008

CRUDE OIL
From last week's record highs of US$145, oil prices plunged to levels below US$130 in the week of July 21, 2008. This translates to a 11% dropp in one week, supported by diminishing tensions between USA and Iran, a strengthening dollar and rising crude inventories.
