Ticona Engineering Polymers (a business of Celanese Corp) has successfully commenced operations at the Celanese integrated complex in Nanjing, China. Plant capacity is at 20,000 tons of GUR ultra-highh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE), augmenting the company's total capacity from the three plants to 90,000 tons.
