BASF, the world's largest chemical company has unveiled Luran® S BX 13042- ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate copolymer)-possessing property to kill microbes. The antimicrobial material contains silvver compounds that are incorporated into the plastic in order to impart its surface with a germicidal effect.
