CRUDE OIL 
Crude oil prices have risen to hover under US$46/barrel in the week of January 26, 2008. Friday witnessed a 3 dollar surge ahead of the Lunar Neew Year holidays, and also reflected expectations that crude stockpiles will ease as OPEC members strictly implement production cutbacks.
