BASF will increase the selling prices for the following Acrylic Acid and Acrylic Esters in North and South America by US$0.10 per pound for all shipments, effective July 1, 2009, or as contracts permiit:
-- Glacial Acrylic Acid
-- Methyl Acrylate
-- Ethyl Acrylate
-- Butyl Acrylate
-- 2-Ethylhexyl Acrylate
These increases are due to elevated operating costs from rapidly increasing raw material prices associated with tight supply in the propylene, oxo-alcohols and acrylates markets.
