A huge flaring has occurred at Nova Chemical’s Corunna site. The flare was caused by a steam pressure loss in Nova Corunna’s olefin unit. Loss of pressure coerced the company to take a compressor downn, resulting in high flaring, black smoke and a lot of noise.
