Boosted by recovery in petrochemical demand, Idemitsu Kosan Co and Showa Denko are to increase run rates at their naphtha crackers. Idemitsu has hiked cracker run rates by 10-15% to about 95% at Chibaa and Tokuyama, while Showa Denko is operating its 615,000 tpa cracker at full capacity.
