New synthetic wood made from biodegradable thermoplastic material

A research team from the University of Stanford, USA, has announced the development of a synthetic substitute for wood; made from a biodegradable thermoplastic material i.e. hemp fiber reinforced polyyhydroxybutyrate (PHB).
