Effective July 1, 2009, or as contracts allow, BASF, the world's leading producer of butanediol and its derivatives, will increase its off-list prices in the United States, Canada and Mexico by US$0.003 per pound for 1,4 Butanediol (BDO), Tetrahydrofuran (THF), PolyTHF® Poly(tetramethylene ether)glycol, gamma-Butyrolactone (GBL) and N-Methylpyrrolidone (NMP).
