Start up of the Ras Laffan Olefins Co ethane cracker, with capacity to produce 1.3 mln tpa of ethylene has been delayed due to a technical glitch. The ethylene from this cracker was to serve as feedsttock for Qatofin’s linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant.
