Proposed petrochemical plant in Nova Scotia's Guysborough County being abandoned

A proposed US$4.6 bln petrochemical plant in Nova Scotia's Guysborough County is being called off, mainly due to the current economic downturn and lengthy delays. The developers behind Keltic Petrocheemicals did not renew a land option agreement they held with the municipality.
