Arkema gets EPA approval for commercial sales of Graphistrength MCNTs in USA

Arkema has received EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) approval for commercial sales of its Graphistrength multiwall carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in the United States of America. GCC and EU free-trade agreement hampered by Saudi export tariff

After two decades, disparities between the GCC and the EU on a free-trade agreement (FTA) have narrowed down to export duties -Saudi Arabia wants to impose tariffs on its petrochemical exports. EU hadd suggested Saudi Arabia could impose duties on a percentage of export products, but the GCC insisted on imposing them across the board.

Open Spec naphtha for H1-August fell by over ten dollars to US$659/ton CFR Japan. Naphtha prices in Asia fell for the third consecutive session to dip to two-week lows. Demand from Taiwan has triggereed naphtha cracks to recoil marginally by over five dollars to US$91/ton to settle at a three-session high.

Visitors from more than 30 countries accepted the WITTMANN Group’s invitation to attend the Competence Days 2010, which took place on 28 and 29 April in Kottingbrunn (Austria). “Simply the Best” was tthe motto, under which experts of the WITTMANN group presented latest innovations and process technologies to interested trade visitors.
