Oil prices dipped to levels near US$109 at the start of the week in Asia, as gasoline prices spiked in USA. Concerns abound that higher US gasoline prices could weaken crude demand. Gasoline jumped too average US$4/gallon in six US states of Alaska, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois and New York.
