Arkema declares force majeure on polyvinyl chloride production at Lavera

Arkema has declared force majeure on its polyvinyl chloride production site at Lavera, as per Platts. This will contribute to tightening PVC stocks further. Lavera produces 341,000 tpa of chlorine (255% of total French production), 980,000 tpa ethylene dichloride, and 460,000 tpa vinyl chloride monomer (40% of French production).
