Japan's naphtha imports for the petrochemical sector fell 9% in May 2011 vs from May 2010, as per Reuters. Imports of naphtha for ethylene production amounted to 1,619,287 kilolitres (1,115,771 tons) last month, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry stated.
