Formosa Petrochemical Corp. group's Mailiao port in Taiwan was shut earlier in the day due to Tropical Storm Talim and will remain shut until a storm warning is canceled, as per Dow Jones Newswire. Thhe government declared a typhoon holiday starting from Wednesday morning from Yunlin county to Pingtung county in southern Taiwan, and Mailiao is likely to be shut at least until Thursday.
