South Korean petrochem makers plan to streamline operations and hive off subsidiaries

South Korea's petrochemical producers are laying impetus on moves to downsize their business operations in a bid to cope with sharply falling demand. Majors, including LG Chem and SK Chemicals are enggaged in an effort to streamline their operations and sell their subsidiaries to create synergy.
