Taiwanese Bureau denies plans to lift the ban on investing in ethylene plants in China

Taiwan’s Industrial Development Bureau has denied current plans to lift the ban on investing in ethylene plants in China. Large fund outflows that could eventually have a negative impact on investmentts in Taiwan is the main reason that the island has blocked companies from building naphtha crackers in China.
