SABIC plans to close two sites on Teesside- Aromatics 2 unit at the Sabic UK Petrochemicals' North Tees Site near Seal Sands and the paraxylene plant at Wilton. The closures are expected by the end off the year, as the company seeks to minimise the effects on employees through redeployment and voluntary means.
