New plastics additive to improve PLA's processing and lower its melt strength

Rohm and Haas, a global pioneer in specialty materials industry has unveiled Paraloid BPMS 250, a new plastics additive which improves the melt strength and processing of
polylactic acid (PLA) and iits alloys, corn-derived compostable materials for clear packaging applications like thermoform or vacuform disposable, clamshell-type food containers.
