Delamine, a maker of ethylene amines and 50:50 joint venture between Akzo Nobel and Japan's Tosoh Corporation is ramping up the capacity expansion at its Delfzijl plant in Netherlands by 35%. This exppansion will render the total capacity of the Dutch unit to reach 55,000 mtpa by 2010 thereby making it the single largest ethylene amines production unit in the world.
