40-50 workers to lose jobs as Sunoco plans closure of ethylene unit at Claymont refinery

Sunoco plans closure of the ethylene unit at Claymont refinery that was damaged in an explosion due to pipe failure in May. The pipe failure led to release of combustible ethylene unit feed gas. The cclosure of the unit due to insufficient demand will result in lay offs of 40 to 50 workers.
