The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has deferred until September, an opinion on bisphenol A (BPA), as review of the 800 research studies will take time. Experts dismissed the possibility of a loow dose effect on learning ability as expressed in the Danish DTU Food Institute risk assessment.
